Arline Smith began her career as a prop maker for the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford, England. She subsequently worked as a historical costume maker and jewelry designer for Cosprop, London, an Oscar Award winning costume house. Since moving to Canada, Arline has been involved in the film and photographic industries, making everything from a pea to an elephant,and has now developed a specific interest in creating automata, miniature scenarios and theatres.
